My client loved her older but beautiful bed and asked me to create a new custom finish inspired by some photos she had seen in various design magazines.
I made her some faux samples in several greys and whites based on her new walls/floor finish. She selected a creamy white base color with a hint of grey distressing.
Great quality wood/construction perfect project to restore rather than buying new and design details perfect to distress. Definitely a fun challenge painting this king size headboard, footboard, side rails, and four large posts/finials.
The final challenge was putting this bed back together carefully but it all worked out thanks to my two handy installers. My client painted her walls and replaced flooring while I was painted!. Great team work and thank you Wendy for the opportunity!
