Restoration project brings new light and life to antique sconces in an old Sewickley mansion.

I am proud to share this recent restoration of 120 year old lighting for a beautiful design/renovation project in Sewickley. Working with talented designer Jessica, to create a custom metallic finish to match and coordinate with new lighting specified in the living/dining rooms was an awesome challenge.

What a wonderful idea to restore these antique sconces so they may enjoyed by the new owners for years to come. Two are mounted inside the dining room, four brass inside main hallway, and one small fixture into the powder room in a different custom finish.

Seeing the architectural and design details of wood, glass, marble,  and stone,  inspired me to create and paint just the right finish. Here are some pictures from beginning to end. Thank you Jessica for the opportunity to be part of your team and to the electricians for doing an incredible installation. #lfacreations, #custompaintedlighting
