Custom chair finish brings love and happiness around this table.

It is with great pleasure that I share these before and after photos of this unique furniture painting project.  I so appreciated the opportunity this past December to create a custom finish on four antique chairs to match six existing designer chairs from Fremarc Designs that Karen had purchased eighteen years ago for her kitchen.

This was a challenging art project and I worked in my wood/paint shop to experiment with different ways to create the old finish and layers of paint with crackle medium and custom colors needed with Annie Sloan Chalk Paints which I knew would be a great application for the project. It had to be perfect before wax finish was applied for final finish. Believing in myself and Karen’s true faith in me pushed me to a new level to create a finish that she loved and the perfectionist in me approved!

So thankful for an awesome project and that I could deliver before Christmas as promised for her family to enjoy. I received a text a week later from Karen that made all the hard work so worth it. She said “Hi Lynn, Just wanted to let you know that this house has been filled with much love and laughter since you added your chairs to our table.” This touched my heart more than I could express. I love painting furnishings that have special meaning to my clients.
