Kicking off 2024 by sharing a favorite project for special clients, who have owned/loved horses forever!
It was so much fun creating these equestrian themed pieces for a newly renovated/designed bedroom.
So thankful my clients decided to keep these loved and well built furniture pieces made by Pennsylvania House and to have the opportunity to bring them back to life!
There were some repairs after cleaning and sanding to smooth both tops. One left bottom wood trim detail piece was missing, which may have been chewed by a sweet young puppy, but not mentioning any names 🙂 and needed made to match the right bottom piece on the chest. My husband is very handy & precise working with wood and so thankful for his expertise making a match.
Another fun detail was cleaning/polishing all the old brass knobs to coordinate with new equestrian bit pulls. My client’s daughter loves horses and is a great rider like her mom and grandmother. Originally I was going to custom paint knobs but the sheen would not have matched. Love how these quality brass knobs came back to life and the new Midnight Navy paint color is truly stunning!
