Tiger oak dining table transformed with a new custom finish!

It was extra special to acquire this table from a client/friend, who had ordered a new table to fit her growing family and needed to find a new home fast for this one!

This well-built solid wood table/base from the 1930’s and so worth restoring. I have always loved round dining room tables for conversation.

It needed some small repairs to get it ready to clean, prime, and paint. Definitely one of my more fun projects creating a totally new custom distressed finish for our dining room! Usually I am painting for my clients in their homes.

Excited to share these before, during, and after photos. I also painted the finish onto back panel of our old hutch, which my husband made years ago in woodshop!

All kinds of wood, even tiger oak, can be painted to look modern without the huge cost of buying new at high-end furniture stores.

It is a treasure to me with many memories over the last 90+ years and wish it could talk and share all the stories! Cheers to making new memories with my family & friends!
